When Digital Meets Street Art
What you see on our wall isn’t just random street art. It’s the Ape Street Gallery – an outdoor gallery made up of 50 digital characters from the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection.
Each ape has its owner. And we’re not talking about some anonymous geeks locked up in garages – these people use their apes as logos and build real businesses around them. Some apes represent beer or water brands, others clothing, and even chocolate. And then there’s our mutant, Infi Torem, who has an honorary spot right here.
A Community That Lives Beyond the Internet
These apes aren’t just profile pictures. They resonate all over the world. At ApeFest in Lisbon, we even heard people say they plan to travel all the way here just to take a picture next to their ape.
That’s what we love about it – street art meets digital. The gallery connects the digital world with reality and gives the community a place to see something that would otherwise exist only online.
How Did the Apes End Up on Our Wall?
This wasn’t some random selection. We carefully picked apes that are active in the community and have interesting projects behind them. We also did a giveaway so that new creators had a chance too. And of course, we had to feature the founders of Bored Ape Yacht Club – Garga and Gordon.
A Gallery That Evolves
Ape Street Gallery isn’t just a static installation. The project is alive. What you see today might look different tomorrow. Maybe there will be new apes. Maybe something completely different. That’s the magic of street art – you never know what’s coming next.
