Over the years, our iconic Slides have turned into a statement piece. These days, you can spot them on celebrities and athletes—and some of our fans even collect them. But how did it all begin? And what sparked the silhouette that kicked off the hype?
It started in the studio
The first idea was simple—keep it dirty, but clean.
We dropped the very first pair in collaboration with Footshop, and it was born straight in the studio. LIP co-founder and artist Dian painted an explosion of colors on a white canvas, featuring the phrase Life is Porno in a raw, graffiti-style tag. That design was then printed on clean white slides.
The Life is Porno Slides x Footshop came as a pack with a beanie and socks—and dropped all the way back in 2018. What made the collection special was the twist: instead of summer, it repped “anti-summer.” I mean, no one really rocks a beanie in July, right?
The launch video from inside a freezer? Not exactly summer vibes either.
Fresh Slides and a pop-up at Holešovice Market
We released several drops with Footshop, each with its own unique energy. The next version was more colorful, and came in a pack with a beach tennis racket and balls.
And the release? Right at Holešovice Market, where we ran our own stall selling “fresh slides.” The hype was so real that even grandmas started lining up—thinking we were selling the freshest fruit in the neighborhood.

Then we hit the hole in one...
We took the Slides straight onto a golf course.
Not only were balls flying—but also heads—when they saw our Vice Vibe Slides in orange and blue accents. Each color had its own pair.
To top it off, we brought an oversized swim ring onto the green—because why the hell not?

Next stop: anime cyberpunk city
From a fictional anime universe, we dropped the Night Lights Slides into the streets. The design lit up the night like neon.
Alongside a killer anime-style lookbook, we released a matching collection to complete the vibe.
The future’s looking bright…
The Bright Future Slides proved that Porno slides are a summer essential. To make it official, we blessed them with water.
