We make handmade pieces, classic flat caps, truckers, and five-panels. But how did it all start?
From the first handmade cap in Porno Villa
The first hand-painted cap came to life around 2007. Kačer, one of the OG founders of the legendary Porno crew, painted it in Porno Villa. In summer 2012, when we officially founded Life is Porno, caps became part of our DNA.
We’re the first (and maybe the only?) brand in the world that makes hand-painted caps as a series. How? We drop them in limited editions.
Most of them are painted by our in-house artist DIAN – a founding member of Porno Villa and also our Creative Director. Sometimes he brings in guest artists too.
Edition 365
This project took DIAN four years. Every cap is a one-of-one, no ctrl+c.
Early drops were random – a lucky strike. You never knew what you’d get. Later editions dropped in cities like Bratislava, Berlin, or at our barter events, where you could trade a cap for anything with a story.
And then came 2016: the biggest cap exhibition ever.
Every piece came with a certificate, number, and signature.
And everyone who copped one got access to a secret members-only group with exclusive content.

Our caps don’t just boost your outfit – they get you access to places and moments you’d never expect. That still applies today.

Life is Porno was born in the streets of Prague, and that’s where we stay.
Besides stickers, you might stumble upon our caps – we treat them as street art.

We still drop new hand-painted caps regularly.
Sometimes it’s a trucker, sometimes a flatcap – always a new original design you won’t find anywhere else.
But watch out – these drops are limited and disappear fast.

Colaborations
One of the freshest drops: handmade caps with Bruncle – who’s collaborated with A$AP Ant, Lil Nas X, Timethai, and Gentmemishi.
Together, we dropped a dad cap and a flatcap in his signature aesthetic – and matching pieces too.
Another 2024 drop was a collab with our long-time homie David Luu, who brought his own flavor to our signature trucker in his favorite color combo.
